About Happy Ageing Lab Foundation
Based in the School of Architecture, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Happy Ageing Lab Foundation is a think tank connecting academics, design and health professionals to innovate housing solutions for an ageing population. To promote ageing-in-place, intergenerational living, and healthy ageing, the Lab targets to expand the housing choices available in the market by developing implementable, innovative housing prototypes through research, knowledge exchange and industry engagement. Our team believes every team member can bring something new, exciting and unique, whether it is ideas, insights, experience, know-how, skills, or even connections.
We are looking for a Project Executive/ Senior Project Executive (Community Engagement) to lead our research development with a focus on housing design/ services for the ageing population, and drive initiatives which support organisational growth – including but not limited to business innovation, staff training and funding applications.
Responsibilities
Assist in organising various community engagement programmes and events (including event planning and logistic arrangement);
Prepare graphical communication materials, including but not limited to project pitching presentation, project promotion material, social media posts;
Assist in formulating community engagement event and marketing activities;
Assist in maintaining company webpages and social media platforms, and overseeing publications and promotion activities;
Assist in coordinating with internal and external parties, on project-related issues and maintain smooth operation;
Support Project Manager to monitor project progress to ensure project quality has been met the client standard, in time and within budget;
Liaise closely with community stakeholders, built environment professionals, and clients to align the project matter;
Perform ad-hoc assignments as assigned.
Requirements
University degree holder in social design, urban studies, architecture, urban design and planning, graphic design, social work, marketing, or a related field;
1-3 year working experience in community-orientated and/ or project coordination is preferred;
Proficiency in website, digital and social media applications;
A strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently and effectively in a team-based environment; good interpersonal skills, being self-motivated, and attentive to details are required;
Pleasant personality. Flexible, responsible, active and good team player;
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and in MS Office applications (including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and related applications); Knowledge in SketchUp Pro or other 3D drawing software would be an advantage;
Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese; fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage;
Be able to work flexible hours for specific community engagement activities when required; and
Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Project Coordinator position.

A competitive remuneration package will be offered based on the candidate’s experience.
Preference
Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in community engagement related to housing, ageing, intergeneration, community health and well-being. Only applicants who intend to work full-time in Hong Kong will be considered.
