中大建築系x老年學 ─ 師兄妹「築」建Happy Ageing Lab

In a recent interview with Cubic Zine, architects-turned-gerontologists Mo and Rena discuss their inspiring journey and the establishment of the Happy Ageing Lab. Departing from traditional architecture, the duo has joined forces to explore the profound impact of architectural design on the well-being of the elderly. Their initial focus lies in assessing the elderly-friendliness of public toilets, aiming to create age-friendly environments by collaborating with property management companies and incorporating valuable feedback from the elderly community. Additionally, they plan to launch a platform featuring elderly Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to amplify the voices and experiences of senior citizens. The Happy Ageing Lab's innovative research and initiatives aim to transform the way we approach and enhance the quality of life for our ageing population.
